Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman and his defense will have their hands full with the Ole Miss offense this weekend. The Rebels have scored 44.60 points per game this season, and enter coming off a memorable comeback victory over LSU.

Pittman gave his thoughts on the Razorbacks offense during Monday’s press conference, highlighting the play of starting quarterback Jaxson Dart, star running back Quinshon Judkins and backup running back Ulysses Bentley IV.

“Dart’s really good,” Pittman said. “I mean really good. Those two running backs, I think they’re as good as anybody has. Both of them. They’re good. Judkins is really special. The transfer from SMU, (Bentley), is really good. Kickoff returner as well. Their line, they got three veterans center over right. Then they went in the transfer portal and got a couple of good players on the offensive line. But, I think coach, he runs the ball quite a little bit. I would too if I had them running backs.”

Last season, Judkins ran rampant against the Arkansas defense. He had 24 carries for 214 yards and one touchdown. It wasn’t just Judkins, either. Zach Evans also ran the ball 17 times for 207 yards and a touchdown.

But the Razorbacks won the game, 42-27, behind their star running back Raheim “Rocket” Sanders. Sanders rushed the ball 24 times for 232 yards and three touchdowns.

Sanders returned from injury last week in the Razorbacks’ game versus Texas A&M at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. He had 11 carries for 34 yards in the 34-22 loss.

The Ole Miss offense finished last week’s game versus the Tigers with 706 total yards. Dart threw for 389 yards and four touchdowns while Judkins had 33 carries for 177 yards and a touchdown.

Bentley also had nine carries for 90 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

“You see a lot of explosives,” Pittman said. “For us to win, we’re gonna have to cut those explosive plays out. That’s (Judkins) going up the middle of the field as well. But they basically run four running plays, basically is what it is, and off of that they have either RPO or read from the quarterback. Dart’s a lot faster than I want him to be. But they got playmakers everywhere. They got, I think three receivers over 300 yards catching and just really scary. I mean they’re explosive. I think we’ll have a good game plan as always.”
