According to On3’s Pete Nakos, former Stanford wide receiver Ismael Cisse has signed with Arkansas. Cisse just wrapped up his second season with the Cardinal, playing under head coach Troy Taylor. But he now heads to the SEC via the NCAA transfer portal and hopes to excel in the Bobby Petrino offense.

Just two appearances were made during the 2023 season, Cisse’s true freshman campaign. This allowed the receiver to utilize a redshirt and preserve an extra year of eligibility. Getting more run time this past season means Cisse can stay at Arkansas for up to three years if he desires.

Looking at the ’24 season, Cisse played in 12 games with five starts. He caught 26 passes for 241 yards and two touchdowns. Both scores came at the beginning of the year — one against TCU is the opener and then the following week vs. Cal Poly.

Most of Cisse’s production was in the front end of the schedule, only having two receptions in the final six games. Arkansas will be hoping he connects better with their system beginning next year.

Cisse played high school football at Englewood (CO) Cherry Creek, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,055 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Arkansas lands portal offensive lineman

Maryland transfer offensive lineman Marcus Dumervil committed to Arkansas, On3’s Hayes Fawcett has learned. He started his career at LSU and will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Dumervil spent three years in Baton Rouge before making his way to Maryland in 2023. He appeared in four games during his first season with the Terrapins, but played in 10 games in 2024, including three starts at left tackle.

While at LSU, Dumervil played in 16 games and took a redshirt as a true freshman in 2020. He made his first career start against Arkansas in 2021, and he will now get ready to suit up for the Razorbacks.
