Top-10 2024 recruit Ryan Wingo visiting Arkansas this weekend
St. Louis (Mo.) St. Louis University four-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo will be heading to Arkansas this weekend visit the Razorbacks.
His eldest brother, Ronnie Wingo, played for Arkansas from 2009-2012. Raymond Wingo, his other brother, played for in-state Missouri.
During the 2021 season, Ryan Wingo attended a game at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and came away impressed.
“I loved the vibe at Arkansas,” Wingo told On3’s Chad Simmons. “My brother played there, so I had been before, but I love the fans. Coach Sam Pittman is doing a very good job and I like everything Arkansas is doing.
The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Ryan Wingo as the No. 6 overall prospect, No. 1 prospect in the state of Missouri, the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle.
On3 does not rank high school sophomores during their fall seasons but does hand out grades. Smith is one of 18 players who received a grade of 91 out of 100.
Wingo currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $10.1k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
“I have recruited St. Louis for 20 years and recruited both of his brothers,” a veteran Big Ten coach told On3. “Ronnie was tremendous, and Ray had big potential, too. But Ryan is special. He is one of the top 10 players on our board – in the entire country.”
