It didn’t take long for Missouri transfer Trevon Brazile to make his transfer decision.

Brazile is heading to Arkansas, he announced via Twitter on Wednesday. The decision comes more than a week after Brazile entered the transfer portal following his lone season with Missouri.

Brazile arrived at Mizzou unranked from the Class of 2021, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average. But he received a three-star ranking from 247Sports and ESPN, and averaged 6.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 21.5 minutes per game as a freshman in 2021-22.

It’s another strong addition to the 2022 recruiting class for Eric Musselman and Co. The Razorbacks have the No. 3 recruiting class in the country, according to the On3 Consensus Team Rankings. They also recently landed a commitment from Anthony Black, a five-star recruit and the No. 19 player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus. Arkansas has three top-20 prospects coming in, and also Brazile, who has a year of SEC experience under his belt.

Black committed to Arkansas over offers from Gonzaga, Oklahoma State and TCU. The Texas native ranks as the No. 19 overall player in 2022 according to On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average.

The 6-foot-6 combo guard joins Arkansas native Nick Smith and small forward Jordan Walsh as the other two five-stars and McDonald’s All-American players in Eric Musselman’s recruiting class. Arkansas also signed four-star combo guard Derrian Ford to give them four players in the top 100 of On3’s 2022 class rankings. Overall, the Razorbacks signed the No. 3 class in the nation and No. 2 class in the SEC.

Musselman and the Razorbacks are coming off of their second-straight Elite Eight appearance, where they fell against No. 2 seed Duke on Saturday. This is his first time landing a top 10 recruiting class since taking over the team in 2020. He has led Arkansas to at least 20 wins in every season since then, and the future only appears to be getting brighter. Three-stars Joseph Pinion and Barry Dunning round out this year’s six-man class.
