4-star DL Xadavien Sims sets Arkansas visit

Durant (Okla.) four-star defensive lineman Xadavien Sims will be visiting Arkansas this weekend. He announced the news over Twitter on Thursday.
Sims is the No. 222 overall prospect and No. 23 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Oklahoma.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound defender currently holds 19 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Michigan State has a commanding lead for his commitment at 92.2%.
Sims visited USC last weekend. He spoke about his trip with Scott Schrader of WeAreSC.
“It was really just electric,” Sims said. “I could feel the atmosphere. I could feel the whole staff was honest and truthful about what they were saying. I could see myself playing there and definitely getting an education from there.”
“I never really thought about USC,” he added. “But now I really like the school and I like the coaches there.”

Sims also shared his thoughts on Michigan State. According to SpartanMag’s Jason Killop, he is set to visit East Lansing on March 14.
“He’s a great dude,” Sims said of Spartans head coach Mel Tucker. “He has a lot of swag… He’s a great coach and I can see myself playing for him.”
Sims has an On3 NIL Valuation of $65K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
