4-star PF Josh Hill commits to Arkansas State
Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler On3 four-star power forward Josh Hill has committed to Bryan Hodgson and Arkansas State.
Ranked 93rd in the 2024 class by On3, Hill becomes the Red Wolves highest-ranked recruit in program history.
Hill, a native of PG County, Md., ultimately chose Arkansas State over George Mason and Georgia State but also received offers from Alabama, Georgia, Xavier, Kansas State, and others.
The 6-foot-11 senior says he chose Arkansas State because of the “consistency from coach and his staff. They play fast and I can see myself fitting in their system very well. I feel like the school has my best interest.”

Hill also broke down his game and says what type of player the Red Wolves are getting in him.
“I would say I’m a very active forward, working to be a wing with an upside at 6’11. I can stretch the floor and get my teammates involved. I can also create my own shot off the bounce as well and I like to guard and play defense to get stops.”
He has a message for Arkansas State fans.
“I’m ready to be a Red Wolve and contribute by all means necessary to help the team win and go win a SBC title and make the March Madness tournament.”
