2024 DL Dimitry Nicolas commits to Auburn Tigers
Opa Locka (Fla.) Miami Norland three-star defensive lineman Dimitry Nicolas has announced his commitment to the Auburn Tigers.
Nicolas is the nation’s No. 571 overall prospect and No. 55 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 74 player in Florida.
He visited Auburn at the end of July before the August recruiting dead period set in for the Tigers’ Big Cat Weekend.
“Coach (Jeremy) Garrett is a good, genuine guy,” Nicolas recently told AuburnLive. “We have had a lot of conversations since Big Cat. We talk almost every day. He’s also had a couple of conversations with my mom. My mom likes his energy, the vibes he gives off. He just seems like a good, young guy.
“Coach (Hugh) Freeze is another energetic, genuine guy. My mom and dad talked to him. Every day he sends me quotes to keep me up and to have a good day and a good practice. He’s just a good guy.”

He does not currently have a public On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Nicolas is the third commitment along the defensive line for Auburn, joining Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star TJ Lindsey and Pike Road (Ala.) three-star Malik Blocton.

Booker T. Washington top-100 linebacker Joseph Phillips.
Little Rock (Ark.) Christian Academy four-star quarterback Walker White is this group’s signal-caller and ranks inside the top 150.
