Auburn will look to snap a three-game losing streak this weekend when it hosts Ole Miss at Jordan-Hare Stadium. While the Tigers are seeking momentum on the field, Hugh Freeze and Co. are trying to maintain it on the recruiting trail.

One of the highest-ranked prospects in the 2025 cycle will be in attendance this weekend to watch the Tigers take on the Rebels. Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham will check in for his second documented visit on the Plains, he announced on Monday.

Cunningham was in Tuscaloosa visiting Alabama last weekend, continuing a busy fall for the 6-foot-3, 185-pounder. The Crimson Tide were the fourth team to receive a visit since the 2023 season began, alongside Georgia, LSU and Ole Miss.

“It was pretty good. It felt good being up there and in the stands. Everything was crazy,” Cunningham told BamaOnLine of his latest visit. “It just felt good. It’s loud. Their crowd is involved on every play, which is what I like.”

The in-state Rebels currently have the lead for the elite wideout, per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). He’s made close to 10 trips to Oxford, including four in 2023. Mississippi State, Alabama, Florida State and LSU have all received at least three visits throughout his recruitment.

“I hear from Coach Kiffin, Coach Derrick Nix, Coach Pat Carter, Coach Heath Dedeaux and Coach Kelvin Bolden,” Cunningham said of Ole Miss to On3. “Some of them talk to me about every day. They are recruiting me pretty hard and making me feel special.”

Cunningham is the No. 13 overall prospect and No. 4 WR in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 1 player in Mississippi.

He has an On3 NIL Valuation of $137K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Caleb Cunningham Scouting Summary

“Bouncy outside receiver with the upside to become a skilled ball-winner. Listed at an unverified 6-foot-3, 185 pounds. Moves well at that size. Shows the ability to come down with catches in contested situations. Naturally coordinated and can locate the football at its highest point. Also shows some ability to make defenders miss after the catch. Doubles as a fantastic high school basketball player who lives above the rim, throwing down dunks with regularity.

…Also posted strong marks in the high jump (6-0 feet) and triple jump (43-4.25 feet) as a freshman. Has considerable natural ability but will need to hone his technical skill at the position over the final few years of high school football. Could stand to be more productive. Plays at a smaller high school and doesn’t face top competition.”
