Goodman (Miss.) Holmes Community College safety Laquan Robinson has committed to Auburn.

The Greenville (Ala.) native chose the Tigers while also being pursued by the likes of Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Robinson is the No. 9 overall JUCO prospect and top-ranked safety, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder took an official visit to the Plains on Oct. 21, which helped seal the deal for the Tigers. Secondary coach Zac Etheridge led Auburn’s charge for the touted DB.

“It’s a great environment, you know,” Robinson told Auburn Live in September. “Coach Etheridge, he is a great coach, I feel a great connection with him and I feel like we can go somewhere with this.”

Robinson does not currently have an On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
