Four-Star DL Amaris Williams flips to Auburn
Four-star defensive lineman Amaris Williams of Clinton (NC) High flipped his commitment from Florida to Auburn Wednesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-3, 265 pounder had been committed to the Gators since June.
The North Carolina defensive lineman joins coach Hugh Freeze and the Tigers’ top 15 2024 class. He is accompanied by five-star wide receivers Cam Coleman and Perry Thompson.

Williams ranks as the No. 83 player according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 12 defensive lineman and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $119K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
