Auburn and Nike have come to together on a uniform deal as athletic director John Cohen teased on social media Tuesday.

With the new apparel and shoe deal with Nike, Auburn’s relationship with Under Armour came to an end. It’s a new era for Tigers’ athletics.

The video can be seen below where Cohen texts Auburn legends Charles Barkley and Bo Jackson, and even Apple’s Tim Cook.

Auburn athletics then released a video making the official announcement.

According to the video, the Nike deal for Auburn will go into effect in July of 2025. So fans might want to preorder their gear because it’ll surely sell out fast.

For now, the Tigers will wear Under Armour gear for the next school year. But next summer? Oh boy, the Nike logo will be all over campus and apparel.

Cohen recently joined The Next Round radio and YouTube program regarding an apparel move.

“We feel like we’re in a very, very positive place right now,” Cohen said. “I think our fanbase (and) everyone connected with Auburn is going to be very pleased with where we are. Just not ready to release because not all the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed. … We’re excited about where we are and excited the future in that area. We feel like, again, our student-athletes all the way to our fans and alumni are really going to enjoy it.

“Those shoes you put on — they’re not just a uniform. They’re part of the anatomy. We’ve gotten a lot of input from student-athletes, from fans, from our coaches and staff members, all the stakeholders of Auburn University. And we listened.”
