Jahki Howard, a four-star small forward in the 2024 class, has committed to Auburn.

The 6-foot-6, 180-pound senior out of Overtime Elite (Ga.) chose Bruce Pearl and the Tigers over a final group of Arkansas, Arizona State, and Georgia Tech.

“I chose Auburn because the coaching staff treated me like family,” Howard said to On3. “I’m very familiar with the school and who came out of Bruce Pearl’s system.”

In his own words, what type of player is Auburn getting in Jahki Howard?

“I think I’ve improved my shot a lot and I’m becoming a deadly shooter. The playmaking is coming along. I’m a 3-and-D type of player.”

He has a message for Auburn fans.

“Get ready! One of the most electrifying duos is on the way.”

Howard is referring his AAU teammate, Auburn commit Tahaad Pettiford, a top-25 prospect in the 2024 class.
