Peyton Marshall, a four-star center in the class of 2024, has de-committed from Auburn.

The 7-foot, 300-pound center out of Mariette (Ga.) Kell committed to the Tigers back in December, beating out the likes of Missouri, Florida, LSU, and Penn State.

Marshall provided the following statement to On3:

“First and foremost I would like to thank Bruce Pearl and the Auburn coaching staff. After news of recent coaching staff changes within the program and recents talks with the ones closest to me, it is within my best interest to re-open my recruitment. I truly appreciate the support the fans and basketball community have given me. I will be decommitting from the Auburn University. Please respect my decision.”

Marshall ranks as the No. 62 overall prospect in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings — the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies (ESPN, 247Sports, Rivals, On3).
