Auburn defensive lineman Gage Keys plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos has learned. It will mark the third transfer of his career as he spent just one season with the Tigers after playing at Kansas in 2023.

Keys appeared in only two games this past season for Auburn and did not record any stats. He’ll now set out to find his fourth college team in as many years.

Keys played his high school football at Hilliard Davidson High School in Hilliard, Ohio, where he was a three-star prospect. He ranked as the No. 825 overall player and No. 86 defensive lineman in the 2020 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The 6-foot-5 defensive lineman committed to play for Minnesota and spent his first three seasons with the Golden Gophers. He then transferred to Kansas ahead of 2023, where he had the best year of his career to finish with 21 total tackles across 12 games.

Bot players can officially enter his name in the portal when it opens on Dec. 9. The transfer portal will remain open until Dec. 28, though players on teams still playing in the postseason will get an additional five-day window to enter the portal after their seasons end.

Auburn OL EJ Harris plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal

Auburn offensive lineman EJ Harris plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Harris has spent three seasons with the Tigers but redshirted his true freshman season.

Harris has seen limited action with the Tigers. He was a backup guard this season and made three appearances in the 2023 campaign. Harris did not play in 2022, his first season at Auburn.

EJ Harris played high school football at Auburn High (AL), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 384 overall player and No. 20 offensive tackle in the 2022 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
