Auburn extends offer to 4-star EDGE Rico Walker
Auburn has extended an offer to Hickory (N.C.) four-star EDGE and top-300 recruit Rico Walker.
The On3 Consensus — a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies — has Walker as the No. 179 overall recruit in the country.
After February’s Under Armour Camp in Atlanta, Walker told On3’s Jeremy Johnson that he is hoping to cut down his list in the near future.
“I’m trying to find a place that I feel at home at,” Rico Walker said. “I’m really trying to see how interested coaches are in me.”
Rolesville (N.C.) four-star wide receiver Noah Rogers, Belmont (N.C.) South Point four-star offensive lineman Sullivan Absher, Harrisburg (N.C.) Hickory Ridge four-star wide receiver Christian Hamilton and New Bern (N.C.) four-star defensive lineman Keith Sampson Jr. are the only North Carolina commits ranked ahead of Walker in the On3 Consensus.
