Bixby (Okla.) four-star offensive tackle Broderick Shull continues to emerge as one of the best trench monsters in the 2025 cycle — a cycle that’s touted for its bulk of talent on the offensive line.

Shull’s offer list continues to grow, but there’s already one high-profile program that’s trending for his pledge in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

On Friday, On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons logged a pick in favor of Auburn landing the 6-foot-5.5, 275-pounder. His pick follows On3 VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong, who did the same at the beginning of the month. The Tigers now sit with a 94.5% cushion in the RPM for one of the best tackles in the nation.

“Things are lining up nicely for Auburn when it comes to Broderick Shull. They check a lot of boxes for not only him, but for his family. Shull likes the staff, the community and the people on the Plains,” Simmons wrote.

Official visits to Auburn (May 31), Texas Tech (June 14) and Texas A&M (June 21) are all currently on the docket for Shull. He’s also looking to lock in an OV for the weekend of June 7, and Nebraska, Kansas State and Illinois are all looking to land in that spot.

Shull’s uncle played at Kansas State. Texas Tech was the four-star’s first offer. Texas A&M is also turning up the heat in his recruitment. All look to behind Hugh Freeze and the Tigers entering the next phase of Shull’s recruitment, however.

“It blew me away. The facilities are one of the top in the country, and the coaches are really good. Other than that, I just got a really good feeling there,” Shull told On3 of Auburn. “They have that southern vibe like in Georgia and Alabama, with the trees and it’s near water. It’s just beautiful down there. The towns around that give that hometown, small town kind of vibe, too. I got a really good feeling from the fans and the campus.”

Shull is the No. 133 overall prospect and No. 10 OT in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 ranks Shull much higher than other recruiting services. He is now the No. 19 overall recruit, No. 5 tackle and top-ranked player in Oklahoma, according to the updated 2025 On300.

Auburn hunting to land another touted lineman

Adding Shull to the mix is a high priority for Freeze and his staff on The Plains. Auburn’s class currently features 10 commits and ranks No. 9 in the nation and No. 5 in the SEC, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star offensive tackle Tavaris Dice joined Highland Home (Ala.) four-star EDGE Jakaleb Faulk, Birmingham (Ala.) Parker four-star defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford and Opelika (Ala.) four-star defensive lineman Malik Autry in mid-March.

This class also includes commitments from Buford (Ga.) four-star cornerback Devin Williams, Athens (Ala.) offensive tackle Spencer Dowland and a pair of tight ends in Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton’s Ryan Ghea and Peachtree City (Ga.) Mcintosh’s Hollis Davidson. Mobile (Ala.) Williamson four-star OT Carde Smith is the latest addition to the class, as he pledged on April 10.
