Auburn quarterback Walker White plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos has confirmed. White spent only one season with the Tigers and took a redshirt, so he will have four years of eligibility left at his next stop.

The 6-foot-3 signal caller appeared in one game this past season, playing a few snaps against Louisiana-Monroe on Nov. 16. He finished 2-of-5 passing for 18 yards.

White played high school football at Little Rock (AR) Christian Academy, where he was a four-star prospect and top 100 recruit in the 2024 class. He ranked as the No. 86 overall player and No. 7 quarterback in the cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

White chose to play for Hugh Freeze and Auburn over offers from schools such as Clemson, Arkansas, Ole Miss and more. However, he will now move on without having contributed much in his short time at the school and look to make a name for himself elsewhere.
