Auburn rises in On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings
After an impressive National Signing Day, head coach Hugh Freeze and his staff just landed a big recruiting win during the All-American Bowl. Mableton (Ga.) Pebblebrook three-star cornerback Tyler Scott announced his commitment to Auburn.
Scott’s decision elevated the Tigers’ 2023 recruiting class to No. 16 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. Auburn, whose group ranks No. 7 in the SEC, rose one spot from No. 17.
Scott is the No. 554 overall prospect and No. 56 cornerback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 54 player in Georgia.
On3 rates Scott higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not ranked in the 2023 On300, Scott is the No. 42 cornerback and No. 40 player in Georgia.
