When it comes to ejections, groin shots, and other highly entertaining affairs in sports, few are always on top of them quite like Jomboy. If there’s an argument with a referee or official, Jomboy is always there to break it down. On Wednesday, he saw the hilarious ejections in the AuburnKentucky game and had to give us a thorough breakdown.

The umpire in the game told the Auburn players to stop doing the ‘row-the-boat’ motion in the dugout. They didn’t listen. And that’s when the umpire took matters into his own hands and tossed them.

It’s hard to tell why the celebration upset the umpire so much. But for whatever the reason, he didn’t seem to like it. And he didn’t appreciate the Auburn bench not listening to his instructions.

Jokes aside, Auburn won two out of three games in their series with Kentucky, even with the ejections above. Both games were hard fought, with the Tigers winning 8-7 in both of their victories. They lost the third game 0-6. Auburn has won five of their last six games, including a 13-5 thrashing they gave to the South Alabama Jaguars.

The Tigers currently stand at 20-5 overall, including 13-3 at home and 2-2 on the road. Cooper McMurray leads Auburn in home runs with seven. Ike Irish also has five home runs, ranking him second on the team in that stat category. Deric Fabian and Cooper McMurray both lead the teams in RBIs with 25 apiece. Samuel Dutton has 38 strikeouts and Christian Chatterton ranks second on the team with 24 strikeouts. Dutton also ranks second on the team with a 2.48 ERA. Jett Johnston leads the team with a 4-0 record on the mound, while posting a 1.93 ERA in seven appearances.

Up next, Auburn will face off against Georgia in Athens. It’ll be a showdown of two top 15 teams as the Tigers (No. 11) and the Bulldogs (No. 2) settle it on the diamond.
