The Bryan Harsin situation with Auburn just keeps getting stranger and stranger and plenty of people close to the program –including current players– want answers.

A player like Brahms speaking out in such a public forum, directly addressing the Auburn Board of Trustees and school president Jay Gogue is the kind of move that will bring a swift conclusion to this bizarre situation that has unfolded over the last few days.

Many players have spoken in support of Bryan Harsin while reports have come out stating others have been displeased during his tenure.

Brahms just wrapped up his fourth season as the starting center for the Auburn Tigers and a veteran of the program who has played in 40 games during his time there. In the tweet below the original post, he tags other influential players like star kicker Anders Carlson and running back Tank Bigsby –who opted to stay at Auburn for 2022 despite an outstanding season that could have meant him leaving early — amongst other key Tigers’ voices.

Auburn AD met with players to discuss Bryan Harsin

There may not be much time remaining for head coach Bryan Harsin with the Auburn Tigers. Rumors surrounding his job security have been flying over the past two days after just one season.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Auburn athletic director Allen Green met with a few Tiger players to discuss the future of head coach Bryan Harsin. Greene had a short, yet simple message going forward as the situation plays out.

“Auburn AD Allen Greene met with seven or eight veteran players this evening to address the uncertainty around Bryan Harsin’s future,” Thamel said via Twitter. “He delivered a simple message — stay the course and control what you can control, as there’s no clarity. Team operating as normal.”

No date has been set by Auburn for spring practice yet. However, the spring game will be one week earlier compared to last season, April 9. If the team is operating normally, for now, Harsin and his staff will begin preparing for the 2022 season within the next couple of weeks.

Current Auburn players have gone both ways in regards to Harsin. Tight end John Samuel Shenker was in favor of retaining the head coach, saying he is “the leader I want to have in my corner.”

On the other hand, somebody such as transfer wide receiver Kobe Hudson called Harsin a “dictator.” He alongside three other players on the 2021 Auburn roster discussed everything during an Instagram Live on Friday afternoon.
