David Pollack stands on the table for Auburn fans, Jordan-Hare Stadium
Regardless of the problems down at Auburn, few argue against the environment the fans create down on The Plains each weekend of the football season. Jordan-Hare Stadium is one of the most highly regarded stadiums in the sport. ESPN’s David Pollack was the latest to compliment the feeling down at Auburn come game day.
Pollack spoke with Rece Davis and Pete Thamel and said everything about their traditions and fans is what makes them amongst the best.

“It’s awesome. It’s so great, a great atmosphere. The eagle, the introduction. The fans…they stick by their team. They’re always there, they show up, and they show out,” said Pollack. “It’s one of the best ones in all of college football.”
Seeing the dysfunctional nature down at Auburn is frustrating to know how great it is. It has dominated the narrative around the team for almost a year now. Pollack says it takes away from some of the best fans in college football who are cheering for the program through it all.

“I feel bad for the fans. Because the fans are better than the team and the program in which they run itself…They just love their team,” Pollack said. “That’s why you hate all the dysfunction and the losing that they’ve got going on now. It shouldn’t have that.”
Auburn will get back to where they want to be at some point. Their national brand as well as the environment in Jordan-Hare will help them do that. However, it will take continued fan support through what’s been a .500 stretch so far in the Bryan Harsin era. If they can stick with the program through the headlines these days, the future success of the program will feel that much better for the fanbase.
