Four-Star RB J'Marion Burnette decommits from Auburn
Four-star running back J’Marion Burnette of Andalusia (AL) High announced his decommitment from Auburn Thursday afternoon.
The 6-foot-1, 225 pounder had been committed to the Tigers since March.
Burnette sent a statement to On3 regarding his decommitment:
I would like to thank the coaching staff at Auburn for allowing me to have an opportunity to play football at the next level. I would especially like to thank Coach Caddy for these past 2 years recruiting me and sticking with me. As wonderful as Auburn is, it’s just not the place for me at this time. With that being said, I will be de-committing from Auburn University. Thank you. I love you all! War Eagle!

Burnette ranks as the No. 258 player according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 20 running back and the No. 14 player in the state of Alabama.
