Auburn has a very important visitor on campus right now, as Auburn Live’s Jeffrey Lee reports that star Georgia linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson is checking out the Tigers as a potential destination.

Here was his report of the big time transfer visit for the Auburn program:

“HUGE news here as Georgia starting linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson, who entered the portal on Thursday, has arrived in Auburn for a visit.”

With the Dawgs, Dumas-Johnson was a starter and three-year contributor who was a big part of two championship defenses. During his time in Athens, JDJ recorded 125 tackles, 17.0 for loss, 9.5 sacks, six passes defended and even one interception. He’s a versatile and athletic piece of the LB room who will be an immediate boost where ever he lands.

Jamon Dumas-Johnson played high school football at St. Frances Academy in his hometown Baltimore, Maryland, where he was a four-star recruit in the 2021 class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated the No. 240 overall prospect and No. 12 player out of Maryland for his cycle.
