Auburn is set to host Miami tight end transfer Jaleel Skinner for an official visit, according to Auburn Live’s Jeffrey Lee. He entered the transfer portal earlier this week after two years with the Hurricanes.

Skinner appeared in 11 games over the last two seasons, but only made two appearances in 2023 before taking a redshirt. During his time in Miami, he totaled 10 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown.

Most of those numbers came in 2022 as a freshman when Skinner had 129 yards and a touchdown. He officially entered the transfer portal on Dec. 5 and is currently the No. 10-ranked tight end transfer so far this cycle, according to the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings.

After growing up in South Carolina, Jaleel Skinner played high school football at IMG Academy (FL), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 106 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
