LOOK: 3-star CB, Auburn commit Jacorious Hart leaps above two players for catch
It’s been a good summer for Auburn (Ala.) Loachapoka School three-star cornerback Jacorious Hart. The 6-foot-2, 180 pound defensive back committed to Auburn on Aug. 12. He told On3’s Jeffrey Lee that “Auburn is my dream school.”
On Saturday, he showcased why schools like the Tigers, Mississippi State and UCF sought his services. Against LaFayette (Ala.), Hart was outnumbered downfield by two opposing players. Yet the cornerback climbed the ladder and impressively reeled in the ball.
Hart is the No. 721 overall prospect and No. 71 cornerback in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 29 player in Alabama.
Auburn currently has six other commitments alongside Hart. The Tigers’ 2023 recruiting class ranks No. 39 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 12 in the SEC. Yet each Auburn commit is a top-750 prospect.

Hart had high praise for the Tigers following his commitment. He is looking forward to making an impact at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
“It’s a special day for me,” Hart told Lee. “Auburn has always been special to me. It has a family feel. It’s the hometown team and I have the opportunity to play for it in front of my family and friends. I don’t have to drive hours away to go to a school that can get me to the NFL.”
Hart has an On3 NIL Valuation of $16.3K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
