Miami (OH) transfer CB Raion Strader has signed with Auburn out of the NCAA Transfer Portal per On3’s Pete Nakos.

This comes after Strader visited The Plains over the weekend. Now, after leaving earlier today, the Tigers have earned his commitment over interest from programs like Ole Miss among other schools in the Power Four and Group of Five.

Strader spent his pair of seasons as an underclassman playing at Miami (OH). He appeared in 25 games in the Redhawks’ secondary in that span.

In total, Strader posted 110 tackles, 29 deflections, and a trio of interceptions. He led their defense in deflections in each year while being top-three in picks and top-ten in tackles during both.

With that, Strader is currently the No. 11 CB and No. 77 overall transfer. That’s per the present ratings in On3’s 2025 Top Transfer Portal Players. That’s after being a Top-50 player out of Pennsylvania and a Top-200 CB in high school out of Penn Hills in Pittsburgh per On3’s 2023 Industry Ranking.

Strader is now the sixth addition out of the portal this offseason for Auburn. It has been a busy few days for the Tigers with QB Jackson Arnold (Oklahoma), RB Durell Robinson (UConn), OT Xavier Chaplin (Virginia Tech), and P Hudson Kaak (Oklahoma State) all either signing or committing over the weekend. Strader now continues that today with another defensive back joining him this morning as well in Taye Seymore (Georgia Tech).
