Mississippi State transfer OL Percy Lewis commits to Auburn

Former Mississippi State offensive lineman Percy Lewis has committed to Auburn, via the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Lewis spent the first two seasons of his college career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before transferring to Mississippi State ahead of the 2022 season. With the Bulldogs, he appeared in 25 career games with eight starts, making seven of those starts in the 2023 season where he also took home All-SEC Honorable Mention honors from College Football Network.

Percy Lewis played high school football at Salis (MS) McAdams and was a four-star prospect out of Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C, where was the No. 3 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 JUCO Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Lewis was the No. 12 offensive tackle who entered the transfer portal, according to On3’s Transfer Portal Player Rankings. Further, he was the second-best OT still available in the portal. Lewis is Auburn’s seventh addition in the portal. The Tigers boast the No. 40 transfer class, according to On3’s Transfer Portal Team Rankings.
