Tim Tebow there’s a path for Auburn to find the upset against Alabama in the Iron Bowl Saturday. But it’s all about doing the little things right.

Now only that, Tebow wants to see QB Payton Thorne find his best player Jarquez Hunter. Moreover, this team is playing with a confidence that wasn’t quite there earlier this season.

But if things break right, we might see Auburn stun Alabama in one of the biggest rivalries in sports.

“Well, I think you have to look at this Auburn team and say, ‘This is not the same team earlier in the season that was losing week after week,’” Tebow said on SportsCenter. “This is an Auburn team that is getting better. Coach Freeze is continuing to coach, and I love a few of the things that they’re doing, especially last week, they’re getting it to their best players …

“This kid (Jarquez Hunter) is a special running back. And then you got to do the little things, especially when you’re out manned, which Auburn will be The little things. Give it a hard count. Your defense jumps because they want to be aggressive … They put it all together in the red are. We’re gonna get Cam Coleman on a stalk block and go. Payton Thorne’s patient, he doesn’t rush it (when he’s throwing to the end zone). Auburn has to do the little things, and if they do, this is absolutely a team when it’s put together that could find the upset.”

Freeze has a good relationship with both Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer and Crimson Tide defensive coordinator Kane Wommack, but he admitted that it will be a little different coaching in the Iron Bowl and going up against those two instead of Nick Saban.

“First, I have great respect for Kalen DeBoer and we go way back to NAIA days. He’s had success everywhere he’s been,” Freeze said. “And Kane Wommack, obviously, my ties with his family. His father was my DC for years. I gave Kane his first job at Ole Miss. He’s got a wonderful family. So I’ve got great respect for those guys, also.

“And they’ve got one of my former guys as the defensive analyst there and he knows all our stuff. So we’ve gotta combat that again this week. So I have great respect for Kalen and Kane and that staff there.”
