WATCH: Auburn 4-star WR commit Daquayvious Sorey takes a screen pass 84 yards to the house

It’s been a good day for Chipley (Fla.) four-star wide receiver Daquayvious Sorey. Earlier today, the 6-foot-2, 185 pound wideout committed to Auburn. Then, in a contest against Panama City (Fla.) Rutherford, he scored an 84-yard touchdown.

Receiving a screen pass on the left side, Sorey juked one defender. He then shared off another before racing untouched down the sideline for a touchdown.

The wideout had another touchdown earlier in the contest. By halftime, Chipley led 34-0 and ended up winning 41-0.

Sorey is the No. 265 overall prospect and No. 35 wide receiver in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 53 player in Florida.

Sorey is currently the eight commitment in the Tigers’ 2023 recruiting class. He is the second wide receiver alongside Phenix City (Ala.) Central four-star wide receiver Karmello English, the No. 150 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

Auburn’s 2023 class currently ranks No. 36 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. It also is rated No. 12 in the SEC.

Sorey has an On3 NIL Valuation of $14.9K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
