Red Oak (Texas) four-star wide receiver Taz Williams Jr. committed to Baylor, he announced on Saturday. He chose the Bears over SMU, Michigan, Penn State and Texas A&M.

Williams has an official visit scheduled for Waco at the end of the month.

He is the nation’s No. 311 overall prospect, No. 49 wide receiver and No. 47 recruit from Texas in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Williams joins a Baylor class that includes three other blue-chip commits: Red Oak (Texas) South Oak Cliff four-star EDGE Kamauryn Morgan, Wynnewood (Okla.) Pauls Valley four-star running back Caden Knighten and Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star receiver Jacorey Watson.
