Little Rock (Ark.) Little Rock Christian Academy four-star quarterback Walker White received an offer from Baylor on Sunday. He announced the news following a weekend visit to the Bears for their game against TCU.

White is the No. 165 overall prospect and No. 13 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Arkansas.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound prospect has received 21 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Ole Miss has a commanding lead for his commitment at 97%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

“They have made it clear that they like me as a QB,” White told On3’s Chad Simmons after visiting the Rebels last weekend. “They pay a lot of attention to me and stay in touch. Every time I’m there, they make sure I leave feeling comfortable about where I stand.”

Baylor currently has one commitment in its 2024 recruiting class. Lorena (Texas) four-star wide receiver Jadon Porter chose the Bears on April 23.

White, who is visiting Alabama next weekend, has an On3 NIL Valuation of $21K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
