International PG Miro Little commits to Baylor
Miro Little, one of the top international prospects in the class of 2023, has committed to Scott Drew and the Baylor Bears, he told On3 on Friday.
The Finnish point guard burst onto the scene during the U18 Nordic Cup, where he averaged 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in 23 minutes per game.
Coaches from Indiana, Baylor, and USC made the distant trip to Finland to see Little and he spoke about how much that meant to him.
“It was really awesome that they came,” Little said previously. “As you know, Finland is really far away. We are growing a lot in basketball and I hope they see Finland as a place to find other players as well.”
Why Baylor?
At the end of the day, Little says he chose Baylor because of “the real positive mindset of the whole staff. They have proven that they know what to do what European players and they are proven winners!”

Little ultimately chose the Bears over Indiana and Villanova. Baylor’s style of play played a role in his decision.
“It’s a guard-heavy system, with two point guards,” Little said previously to On3. “I would be able to read ball screens, make the right pass, score, and shoot the ball so it’s really interesting.”
What kind of player is Baylor getting, in Miro Little’s words?
“I’m a fun player to watch. I do a little bit of everything on the floor, from the offensive side to the defensive side. I’m energetic and a leader. Leadership is really important to me. I want to make sure my teammates are having fun while we play. You can see me having fun on the court. It’s something I love.”
