The Baylor Bears lead the West Virginia Mountaineers at the have 33-27 thanks to a ridiculous corner shot by the Bears’ true freshman guard Keyonte George.

It is yet another tough Big 12 battle for Baylor. The bears entered into tonight’s game with a 10-5 record but have yet to pick up a win in conference play sitting at 0-3. George has been a man on a mission tonight, leading all scorers with 15 points and is tied for the game-high in rebounds with six. No other player in tonight’s game has more than six points at the half.

After starting the season off on a high note, 7-2 in their first nine games, Baylor has struggled as of late, going 3-3. Their aggressive defensive style has been hit or miss this season as Baylor adapts to new faces and the rotation, such as West Virginia transfer forward Jalen Bridges. Still, if the Bears are going to up in Bridges’ former team on their home court, they will need to bear down on defense and get more amazing play out of their star freshman guard.
