Everett (Mass.) three-star safety Christian Zamor has decommitted from Boston College, he announced on Tuesday. He was pledged to the Eagles since Jan. 18, 2022.

Zamor is the No. 152 safety and No. 10 player in Massachusetts in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He checks in as the No. 1526 overall prospect.

“Firstly, I want to thank god for everything he’s made possible and continuing to guide my steps. Secondly, I want to thank Coach Hafley and the BC staff for recruiting me and providing me an opportunity to play at the next level. After taking things into consideration, i’ve decided to decommit from Boston College. My recruitment is 100% open,” Zamor wrote.

He does not currently have an On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

With Zamor decommitted, Boston College now has just nine commits in its 2024 class, which ranks 106th in the nation and last in the ACC, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
