4-Star ATH Rodrick Pleasant locks in first official visit
Rodrick Pleasant is a versatile athlete out of Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra with two dozen offers and one is from Boston College. The 5-foot-10, 167-pound four-star has set up an official visit to Chestnut Hill for the weekend of June 10-12.
It will be Pleasant’s first time on campus. The No. 157 prospect in the On3 Consensus announced his top 13 schools on February 1 and the Eagles were on that list.
They have quietly been among the top schools for Pleasant.
“They have been recruiting me from the very beginning,” Pleasant told On3. “Coach [Jeff] Hafley and coach Aazaar [Adbul-Rahim] have always been there and we have a great relationship.
“I like how they let you be yourself. They are going to develop you and they let their athletes run track too. I am interested in them and the feeling is mutual.”

Now Pleasant just wants to see the campus. Getting to spend
“I want to see the place. I want to get around the guys and see if I can be a part of something like that.”
Pleasant does not plan to commit before his senior year begins. He is taking his time with the process.
