Robinson on his commitment to Butler

Why did Azavier Robinson ultimately chose Butler?

“Me and my family felt like it was the best situation for and the consistency,” he said to On3. “Also, the relationship I had with the staff.”

His trust in the coaching staff also led to his commitment.

“(Thad Matta) is a great coach who’s done good with point guards over the years. Posh Alexander had his best year with Butler last year and not only that, he really loves my game.”

In his words, what type of player is Butler getting in Azavier Robinson?

“I would describe my play style as a 2 way guard who is aggressive on both sides of the ball.”

He has a message for Butler fans.

“I’m just ready to take this next step as a Butler Bulldog and get to work.”
