Lehi (Utah) Skyridge three-star interior offensive lineman Ben Howard committed to the California Golden Bears on Monday afternoon, he announced on social media.

Howard visited Penn State in November and told BWI that even at the time, Cal had been in “pretty high contact consistently” with Howard.

He is the nation’s No. 1,009 overall prospect, No. 95 interior offensive lineman and No. 11 recruit from Utah in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Howard joins a class previously consisting of five commits: Minneapolis Edina three-star tight end Meyer Swinney, Adelanto (Calif.) Aquinas three-star running back Jojo Solis, Hughson (Calif.) three-star quarterback Robert McDaniel, Round Rock (Texas) Stony Point three-star safety Kaden Cook and Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Crean Lutheran three-star linebacker Carter Jones.
