A 6-foot-8 wing, Sean Stewart is making waves for his ability to score points and his potential on the defensive end.
Stewart earned his first offer before his freshman year when South Florida offered him in September 2019. The offers have been rolling in fairly consistently since then.
Stewart has offers from top programs like Alabama, Florida, Kansas and Michigan. He also holds notable offers from Harvard and Howard, among other schools.
Michael “Yogi” Stewart had a memorable career in Berkeley
Michael Stewart — nicknamed Yogi because of his affection for Yogi bear as a kid — played for Cal from 1993-1997.
He played with two future lottery picks his freshman year in Jason Kidd and Lamond Murray on a Golden Bears team that was upset in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Stewart started 18 of 30 games as a freshman and was a regular starter the rest of his career.
Never much of a scoring threat, Stewart was a defensive menace for the Golden Bears. He finished his career as the single-game, single-season and career blocked shots leader.
