California QB Chandler Rogers enters the NCAA Transfer Portal

QB Chandler Rogers has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal again per On3’s Pete Nakos.
Rogers spent this past season at California. He has also made stops at Southern Miss, Blinn College, Louisiana-Monroe, and North Texas prior to that lone year at Berkley. Now, with this move, he will play a seventh collegiate season with a sixth program.
Rogers has appeared in 50 total games while in college with those teams.
Over the past three seasons with the Warhawks, Mean Green, and Golden Bears, Rogers is 490-765 (64.1%) for 5,902 yards, 44 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He has also rushed for 619 yards and 10 additional scores.
That includes Rogers being 12-25 (48%) for 117 yards this season at Cal in eight appearances as a reserve.
This comes after Cal has been active in the portal regarding quarterbacks. The Golden Bears lost this past fall’s starter in Fernando Mendoza (Indiana), the No. 3 QB and No. 12 overall transfer per On3’s 2025 Top Transfer Portal Players who threw for 3,004 yards, 16 touchdowns, and six picks on 68.7% completion, along with the Rogers to the portal. However, as of this weekend, they brought in Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele (Oregon), the No. 7 QB per On3’s 2025 Industry Rankings as well as the No. 2 QB and the No. 4 overall transfer at On3, before his college debut this upcoming after taking part in bowl practices with the Ducks.
