2023 DL Frederick Williams commits to California
Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra defensive lineman Frederick Williams has announced his commitment to California. He chose the Golden Bears over multiple programs, including Oregon State and Washington.
“I like the classiness of the stadium,” Williams told On3’s Chad Simmons about California on Oct. 28. “I love classy. I love the way they bring different players from different years and bring them there (to) talk. I love the fact how, (during) the recruiting process, they treat you like family.”
Williams is not ranked in the 2023 On3 Consensus or the 2023 On300. He is 6-foot-5 and weighs 243 pounds.
