On3 Consensus 4-star RB Jaydn Ott commits to Cal
Four-star running back Jaydn Ott of Norco, Calif., announced his commitment to Cal on Signing Day.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound four-star prospect picked the Golden Bears over BYU, Oregon State, Colorado and Wisconsin. Ott visited Cal, Colorado, USC, Wisconsin. He was also interested in Arizona and Oregon throughout the recruiting process.
Jaydn Ott was previously committed to Cal, but on Sept. 16 he backed away from that pledge to the Bears. Ott said his decision to decommit came because he picked Cal early without really seeing other schools. He also was committed to Oregon at one point in 2020 before reopening things back up.

But it appears the Golden Bears have convinced Ott that Berkeley, Calif., is the place to be.
Jaydn Ott ranks as the No. 300 player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Before moving to Noro, Jaydn Ott played his sophomore and junior seasons for Las Vegas Bishop Gorman. However, he split time with two other backs as a sophomore and had only 459 yards rushing. Gorman only played in two games during his junior year because of the COVID-19 outbreak, and Ott was out with an injury in both.
