Former Notre Dame wide receiver Tobias Merriweather is expected to transfer to Cal, according to Matt Zenitz.

Merriweather played two seasons with the Fighting Irish but saw more playing time this fall. This year, he had 14 catches for 284 yards, two touchdowns and 20.3 yards per catch.

As a member of the Class of 2022, Merriweather was a four-star recruit out of Camas (Was.) Union, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 2 overall prospect in the state, the No. 23 wide receiver in the class and the No. 133 overall prospect in the class.
