2023 tight end Khamari Anderson commits to Cincinnati
Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech tight end Khamari Anderson has committed to Cincinnati, he announced Thursday afternoon.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder chose the Bearcats over more than a dozen offers, including his two other finalists, Michigan and Pittsburgh.
Anderson is the Bearcats’ fifth commitment in the 2023 class, joining four-star linebacker Trevor Carter, three-stars A.J. Salley and Evan Tengesdahl, as well as fellow tight end Jackson McGohan.

While the Bearcats were one of his top schools, Anderson had strong connections to Michigan with his brother, Raheem, on the roster as a freshman center. The Wolverines offered him in November and he had been on campus a number of time.
Pitt was also squarely in the mix after he visited there for a game this fall. But he saw the Bearcats this fall, and despite a recent offer from USC, opted to pull the trigger on his commitment.
