2024 On3 top-25 EDGE Elias Rudolph schedules Cincinnati visit
Cincinnati (Ohio) Taft four-star EDGE Elias Rudolph announced Wednesday that he will be visiting Cincinnati on Jan. 22. It will mark his first visit to the Bearcats.
Rudolph is the No. 101 overall prospect and No. 11 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Ohio.
On3 rates Rudolph higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 21 overall prospect, No. 4 EDGE and No. 2 player in Ohio.
Cincinnati recently made Rudolph’s updated top 10 schools list. However, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Ohio State has a commanding lead for his commitment at 96.6%
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Cincinnati currently has no commitments in its 2024 recruiting class. Meanwhile, the Bearcats’ 2023 class contains 11 commits and is No. 66 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
A 6-foot-4, 220-pound pass rusher, Rudolph has an On3 NIL Valuation of $62K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
