On300 safety Braedyn Moore decommits from Cincinnati
Hamilton (Ohio) Stephen T Badin four-star safety Braedyn Moore has decommitted from Cincinnati, he announced on Wednesday.
Moore committed to the Bearcats in April over offers from West Virginia, Indiana, Duke, Illinois and a handful of other programs.
“At this point, I not only speak for myself but many others,” Moore wrote on Twitter. “As we grow from boys to men life presents us with decisions. Often times easy isn’t always the best route, it is the tough decisions that help us grow. We all keep our family in mind to make these decisions and go with what is best. All in all business is business. At the beginning and the end of the day, we’re all human.
…Everyday is still God’s plan. I would like to thank The University Of Cincinnati and the whole coaching staff. Thank you for all the time and effort in recruiting and believing in me as a person and student-athlete. Thank you to bearcat nation and the community around me that has supported me. After a lot of thought and consideration, I have decided to de-commit from The University Of Cincinnati and reopen my recruitment.”

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder is the No. 354 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 31 safety and the No. 10 player in the state of Ohio.
According to the Industry Comparison though, On3 is much higher on him than other recruiting services. In the most recent On300 rankings, he was tabbed as the country’s No. 183 overall prospect, No. 14 safety and No. 6 player in Ohio.
Moore is the sixth decommitment in the past week for the Bearcats, who will be replacing head coach Luke Fickell after he accepted the head coaching job at Wisconsin.
