2025 4-star DL Isaiah Campbell commits to Clemson: 'I am all in'
Isaiah Campbell is a Clemson Tiger. The 2025 four-star defensive lineman out of Durham (N.C.) Southern visited Death Valley over the weekend and he left a Tiger.
“Clemson was the best place for me,” Campbell told On3. “I had a good feeling for my top five schools, but I felt it with Clemson. I chose Clemson because of the culture, how I relate to the people there and how they can develop me as a defensive lineman. Clemson also has a great foundation to develop great men.”
Clemson beat Florida State, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Tennessee for the No. 79 prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking.
Campbell was offered by Clemson last May. He was one of the first prospects in the 2025 class they offered. Clemson recruited him hard, Campbell visited around half a dozen times and there was no reason to wait.
“I have been thinking about committing to Clemson for months. They have been a top school for a while and I gave Coach Dabo Swinney my silent commitment a few weeks ago. It was a hard decision, but Clemson has that culture and it is a spiritual program, so that is why I went ahead with my commitment.”
Campbell is the 11th prospect to commit to Clemson in the 2025 class.
Campbell talks the turning point
The decision was announced on Jan. 30, but the turning point was back in late October. Clemson was coming off back-to-back losses to Miami and NC State. The program was at .500 eight games into the season and how Swinney’s program responded made a big impact on Campbell.

“Clemson became the frontrunner for me when they were 4-4,” Campbell said. “The team had a choice. The program showed they have a culture and are committed to that culture. Clemson does it the right way.
“It is not just winning, but developing young men and getting their education. How they came back after the 4-4 start solidified where Clemson was in my mind. I started to really see myself as part of that culture.”
Clemson went on to win their final four games in the regular season before beating Clemson in the Gator Bowl to finish 9-4. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound four-star is excited about what he is going to be a part of in Death Valley.
“The players work their butts off, play hard, but at the same time, graduate and live in a great culture. I have a big opportunity in front of me at Clemson. I get to play for a coach that does things the right way.
“The players have continuity, they continue to win, they have great people and I am all in.”
