New Rochelle (N.Y.) Iona Preparatory School three-star interior offensive lineman Rowan Byrne has committed to Clemson, he told On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

“Clemson is the right fit for me because of the culture and family they have there,” Byrne said. “It is such a unique thing, and if you’re a person who fits in you know it’s home. After my weekend there I knew it was a great fit and that I would de developed very well in all aspects.

“I’m excited to join the program, that’s a national championship program and I’m excited to be apart of it!”

Byrne has visited Clemson multiple times, including for an official visit last weekend.

He is the nation’s No. 625 overall prospect, No. 52 interior offensive lineman and No. 3 recruit from New York in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
