Clemson bans viral 'stadium tour' TikTok creator accused of trespassing at Memorial Stadium
Clemson has banned a popular TikTok creator accused of trespassing, according to The State. University police issued a formal trespassing notice to Garrett Fedewa – who goes by “GFed” – in November.
Fedewa posted one of his usual videos on TikTok where he walks through an open entrance and walk around a stadium without permission. He then posts the tour on the app as part of his “Walk-On Challenge.”
Fedewa was not criminally charged, according to The State. He later addressed the situation in one of his videos when he said he had been banned from Clemson. He will not, however, post the video he took inside Memorial Stadium because he doesn’t “want to get arrested.”
“They simply did what they were instructed to do,” Fedewa said. “We had a productive conversation off camera, and based on the information they gathered they gave me a trespass notice, which I thought was fair enough.”
Fedewa previously did his “Walk-On Challenge” at South Carolina and Coastal Carolina, and he said he didn’t deal with police at either stop. Through two years of recording the videos, he added Clemson was the only time he ran into police in the Carolinas, but he said the situation was “handled well, all things considered.”

“Given Mr. Fedewa’s recent history of unauthorized entries, his active warrant, and his lack of affiliation with Clemson University, I issued him a trespass notice, barring him from Clemson University campus grounds,” a Clemson PD officer wrote to The State.
According to the police report, Clemson University PD was dispatched to Memorial Stadium Nov. 8 at 7:18 p.m. when a man was noticed on a surveillance camera near Howard’s Rock. An officer then swept the stadium, but didn’t see the man. Police later caught up with Fedewa outside the stadium after identifying him through his driver’s license.
“He also told us he regularly enters stadiums after hours without permission while visiting said colleges,” an officer wrote, per The State. “He also indicated he had been in Columbia the day before and had entered Williams-Brice Stadium without permission.”
The State also reported Fedewa had three misdemeanor arrest warrants from Georgia in December 2023 after a previous situation at Sanford Stadium. That came after someone in the UGA athletics department saw one of his videos and said he “unlawfully” accessed it. Georgia then banned him from campus for two years.
