Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley four-star EDGE Bryce Davis is one of the top prospects set to announce their commitments this weekend. The 6-foot-2.5, 265-pounder is set to choose between ClemsonDukeGeorgia and South Carolina on Saturday.

The buzz has been around multiple programs throughout Davis’ recruitment, but there is a favorite to land his pledge 24 hours out, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

Clemson offered Davis last June. He visited Death Valley a few months prior and has since returned for a trip earlier this spring and a summer official visit last month. Tigers defensive ends coach Chris Rumph continues to make the blue-chipper a priority and now looks to be in line for a major recruiting win on Saturday.

Earlier this month, On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons and VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong each logged picks in favor of the ACC program winning out for Davis’ pledge. The Tigers now have an 88.3% edge in the RPM as they battle Georgia late.

“Coach Nick Eason and coach Chris Rumph are great guys and they are a great defensive line coaching tandem. Coach Eason has always been there and I love the hiring of coach Rumph. They are part of that real family atmosphere at Clemson. Clemson is a great program like Georgia that has given me a lot to think about,” Davis told On3.

“Clemson and Georgia have been on me hard since my sophomore year,” he said. “It started with Georgia when I was a freshman, but then they offered me as a sophomore. I have relationships with both schools and there is a lot to like about both programs. I can say I like both schools a lot.”

Davis is the No. 71 overall prospect and No. 9 EDGE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 3 player in North Carolina.

Just five of the pledges in the mix for Dabo Swinney and Co. are on the defensive side of the ball, but all five are top-100 prospects in the On3 Industry Ranking or 2025 On300. Durham (N.C.) Southern four-star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell leads the way as a top-40 recruit and No. 4 DL in the nation. Norfolk (Va.) Maury four-star EDGE Ari Watford is right behind at No. 43 overall.

Lake City (S.C.) South Florence four-star DL Amare Adams is the nation’s No. 6 DL and No. 1 player in the Palmetto State. Cedartown (Ga.) four-star safety Tae Harris is a top-70 prospect and a top-10 safety. Tampa Wiregrass Ranch four-star cornerback Graceson Littleton is On3’s No. 12 corner.

On the offensive side, Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian four-star running back Gideon Davidson headlines as the No. 3 RB in the cycle. other blue-chip commits include Buford (Ga.) four-star offensive tackle Brayden Jacobs, Anderson (S.C.) Belton-Honea Path four-star RB Marquise Henderson and Lawrence (Mass.) Central Catholic four-star quarterback Blake Hebert.
