The month of March will be a busy one for Tampa Sumner four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison.

The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder told On3’s Chad Simmons earlier this week that he’s locked in six visits — five of which are set to take place next month. Of the programs that are slated to welcome him to campus in the coming weeks, only one already has an official visit date locked in as well.

Clemson will have Addison back to campus on March 11, but he’s also made sure to include the Tigers in his official visit plans this summer as he looks to be committed by the beginning of his senior season. He made his way to Death Valley in the fall and has the ACC program high on his list.

“When I was at Clemson, the atmosphere was crazy. It was very impressive, but what I like most is the coaching staff. They keep it real. Matt Luke and Dabo Swinney are who they are,” Addison told On3. “Coach Luke came in and made a good early impression. He is very impressive. He really loves the kids. Clemson is a Christ-based program and there is no school like Clemson in the country. It is a school I like a lot.”

Addison is the No. 237 overall prospect and No. 19 OT in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 34 player in Florida.

Alabama, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Florida and Oregon also have upcoming unofficial visits lined up with Addison. He told Simmons that he’s still working to finalize his list of other schools that will receive OVs down the stretch, but regardless, the Tigers are expected to be heavily in the conversation when the time comes to make his commitment.

Clemson building on strong start to 2025 recruiting

After finishing the 2024 recruiting cycle with the No. 14 class in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, Clemson is looking to eclipse the top 10 in 2025. So far, the Tigers are more than on track to do just that.

Three top-100 pledges and 11 commits in total have Clemson at No. 4 in the nation thus far. Late last month, Norfolk (Va.) Maury four-star EDGE Ari Watford — the No. 21 overall recruit and top-ranked EDGE in the cycle — announced his commitment to Swinney and Co.

“Clemson is a very unique place. The people there and the family oriented culture Coach Swinney has built stood out to me. People that go to Clemson go for the right reasons and that’s something I’ve wanted to be a part of growing up,” Watford told On3 upon his commitment.

Joining Watford at the top of the class is Durham (N.C.) Southern four-star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell and Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian four-star running back Gideon Davidson. The Tigers also have a commitment from the top-ranked player in South Carolina in Lake City South Florence four-star DL Amare Adams.

The class has also already stacked up on talent in the trenches, as three offensive linemen are currently pledged. Buford (Ga.) four-star offensive tackle Brayden Jacobs is a top-200 recruit and is joined by Lynchburg Liberty Christian four-star IOL Easton Ware and Addison (Texas) Trinity Christian three-star IOL Jaylan Beckley.
